A little marker doodle of my Minecraft skin! I made it myself, and used the hat layer to put little sunglasses on me. Though maybe not the best choice for those dark caverns…

I love doing linework, but I always lose steam when it comes time to color.

Faharis asked for a ‘strong female character with an emphasis on practicality’ without specifying any particular character, so I just pulled up some reference pictures of  backs and shoulders to make this sketch of a lady pulling her hair into a practical ponytail.

Isn’t there a type of slime monster that takes the bones of its victims and uses them for structure and support?

Now I just keep thinking about a modern city populated by monsterpeople.

Messing around in flash again! Wanted to see if I could draw something in photoshop, then animate on top of it using flash objects. Answer: Yes, but it wasn’t the best idea in this case.

I like flash for its timeline, but its interface is terrible for drawing. Photoshop is fun to draw in but its animation feature is clunky at best. I think I’ll try Toonboom next, see if I like that any better.

I think I have a new favorite show.

Flame Princess and Flambo! I’ve been struggling with learning to paint with oils, so its very relaxing to take a break from that and draw the gently curving lines and flat color fills of Adventure Time.

I am going to post more of my unfinished/in progress stuff. I originally meant for this to only have two arms, but I was sketching different arm positions and decided to keep them all. Better for multitasking!
